The first homestead in Greer, The White Mountain Lodge was built in 1892 as a pioneer family home. Over the years, farming and ranching gave way to a variety of outdoor recreational activities and the Greer area became a retreat in 1940 for residents of the Old Pueblo (Tucson) and the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix).
Today this historic Lodge has been remodeled into private suites, offering a cool summer getaway amongst the pines, aspens, lakes and rivers. Bordered by a national forest and overlooking the breathtaking Amberian Meadow and the Little Colorado River, the Lodge offers guests spectacular natural scenery, fishing, hiking and boundless wildlife at its back door. In winter and early spring skiers enjoy the warmth and coziness of mountain lodging just minutes from Sunrise Ski Resort.
Each of the four suites have private entrances with the option of opening into a large area where families and friends can gather together; perfect for reunions. Off-site management can be reached any time at 520.343.4313.
